Jenny's Birthday

Here's whats be happening lately. We recently had a birthday party for Jordan , Jenny and Ken. Ken just turned 30 yrs old a little while back. That makes Glade and I feel really old. We both feel that are life is passing by so fast. We joke about how we will wait up and be 80 yrs old. That part really scares me probably because I feel that I want to accomplish more and we both have health challeneges now. Anyway Jeff just became the young mens president in his ward. He will be a great one. He is a scouter and really loves it. He got his eagle and really believes in scouting and also preparing for a mission. So he will be great. I am so glad that most of the boys went on a mission. It has been the making of them. Also they all got their eagle and that made them work on something hard. So that gave them the determination to do hard thing. All the boys are good workers. The ones that are fathers now are good workers and help out a lot. I am really proud of them. Glade and I are ward missionary in our ward and we really do a lot of mission stuff. We have the great opportunity to have the missionary over a lot since we are sharing the gospel with a friend. This has brought the spirit into our home . It has increased our testimonies of the gospel. We have been having some of the kids come over to hang out and just do laundry and help us out. It is also great to see the kids and especially the grandkids. We love spenting time with the grandkids. The kids come over and we play board games a lot. We are all pretty good at Ticket to ride and also Acquire. We love those games. We also get into Cramium , Deal or no Deal , and Family Feud. Jenny asked me if we played games when I was young. I guess we did. We play for something to do with everyone besides watch TV or rent a movie. It has united our family.

Sheila helped me with making the calendar she has in her hands. It took lots of hours and a lot of me Stressing . She is so great to help so much. It wouldn't have happened without Sheila. Thanks to her, she's great.

Christmas 2008

We had a great Christmas. It was the first time in a while for all the kids to be home for Christmas. We have had kids on Missions for a while. We loved having everyone around and able to see each other. We played lots of games and stayed up late watching movies and eating food. After about two weeks of lots of company and fun we are back to normal. We miss everyone.
